Overturned bus caught fire in India: 25 dead, 8 injured

A bus heading to Pune city on a highway in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra, India, crashed into the barriers at around 01:30 local time. The bus caught fire after overturning. Twenty-five people were reported to have died and eight were reported to have been injured in the tragic accident. The injured were taken to hospitals.

Due to careless driving, poorly maintained roads, and aged vehicles, traffic accidents occur frequently in India. According to police data, more than 110,000 people die in traffic accidents every year in the country.
