Pakistan Boycotts India Cricket Match at T20 World Cup

Pakistan announced it will not play its February 15 match against India at the Men’s T20 World Cup organized by International Cricket Council. The Pakistani government approved the team’s participation in the tournament but confirmed it will boycott the India fixture. The event will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026, with Pakistan planning to play its group matches in Sri Lanka. Bangladesh also declined to travel to India, citing security concerns, and withdrew from the tournament.
