Palandöken Mountain Turns White with May Snowfal in Türkiye

 

Over the past week, Türkiye’s Erzurum has experienced heavy rains, transforming into snow at higher elevations. This morning, residents woke up to Palandöken Mountain blanketed in snow, with the snowfall gradually extending towards the city center. The Eastern Anatolian Observatory, situated at an altitude of 3,170 meters in the Konaklı Region, recorded nighttime temperatures dropping to -6°C. A noticeable temperature drop was also felt in residential areas.
