PAOK Fans Die in Romania Crash

Seven PAOK supporters were killed and three injured when a van traveling to France for a UEFA Europa League match collided with a truck in western Romania. The crash occurred on the E70 highway between Caransebeș and Lugojel as the minibus attempted to overtake. Romanian authorities have launched an investigation.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said the incident deeply shook Greece and offered condolences to the victims’ families and the PAOK community, adding that Greek officials are coordinating closely with Romanian authorities.
