The Turkish Paragliding Mediterranean Region Target Competition was held in the Alanya district of Antalya. A total of 60 competitors, 41 of whom were local, took off from Hıdrellez Mevkii and tried to land on the area established at Kleopatra Beach. The exciting competition revealed colorful scenes and ended with an award ceremony.
“There are two World Cup organizations this year in the sports capital, Alanya. One will be held next week, and the other in October. We will hold the one that is approved for the World Cup on the 100th anniversary of our Turkish Aeronautical Association,” said Turkish Air Sports Federation Board Member Ergun Ulu.
“The competition went well. The weather was good. No accidents occurred. We achieved a good result. We hope each flight will be more beautiful than the previous one. My goal is to join the paragliding national team,” said Faruk Karateke.
