Paris Demonstration Highlights Civilian Casualties from Mines and Bomb

Handicap International, an international NGO, organized its 30th annual demonstration in Paris to raise awareness of the rising number of civilians disabled by mines and bombs. Held at Republique Square, the event underscored a 130% increase in civilian casualties and amputations caused by Israeli attacks last year.

Participants constructed a symbolic pyramid of shoes, each shoe representing a victim of mines and bombings. The demonstration also featured statues of children and adults disabled by explosives, along with debris from destroyed buildings and tents representing displaced families, emphasizing the human toll of these attacks.
