A passenger plane of Precision Air, that was carrying 43 passengers, crashed into Lake Victoria in Tanzania as it was landing at the airport in the city of Bukoba. It was reported that 15 people have been rescued so far.
Authorities said that the plane crashed due to a storm and heavy rain.
President of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, said “I am sad to hear the news of the accident involving the plane belonging to Precision Air. Please keep yourselves calm while the rescue operations continue.” on her social media account.
