Passenger plane’s engine catches fire during takeoff

The Delta Airlines passenger plane’s engines caught on fire while taking off from John Wayne Airport in California, USA. The pilot suspended the flight as massive smoke was rising from the engine of the plane, which was carrying 172 passengers. All passengers were evacuated from the plane, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
