A Boeing 737-800 type passenger plane belonging to Southwest Airlines in the USA made an emergency landing after its engine cover fell off and hit the wing during takeoff yesterday. The US Federal Aviation Administration announced that there were no problems during the landing of the Denver-Houston flight and that an investigation was launched into the incident. A new flight was arranged for the passengers.
