Passenger Train in Bangladesh Set on Fire Before General Election

A passenger train was set on fire in the capital, Dhaka, before the critical general elections to be held tomorrow in Bangladesh. Four wagons of the train, which was traveling from Jessore to the capital, caught fire, and the fire quickly engulfed the train. Four people died and several others were injured as a result of the attack.

Dhaka Police described the attack as a “planned arson” aimed at causing public panic before the elections.
