Passengers walk off burning train in US

A commuter train carrying about 200 passengers in Somerville, Massachusetts, caught fire while crossing the Mystic River on the railway bridge. Panicked passengers jumped out the windows of the train during the incident. A passenger was observed to have jumped into the river and swam to shore. No deaths or injuries were reported.

The fire started after a piece of metal on the bottom of a railway car came loose, which hit the electrified third rail, authorities said.
