Sera Lake, located in a green valley in Yıldızlı District of Trabzon’s Akçaabat district, has become a new favorite spot for domestic and foreign tourists, with pedal boat rides being allowed again.
“We come from Istanbul. It’s my first time here. It is a very beautiful, natural, and quiet place. Honestly, I didn’t know it was this beautiful,” said Hüseyin Kuraltay.
The lake was formed after some large rocks broke off from the slopes after a landslide that occurred in 1950 separated it from the Sera Stream.
