People in Paris hit the streets for detained Palestinians

The people in the French capital city of Paris, hit the streets this time for the detained Palestinians. Residents of Paris protested at the Place de la Republique Square over the detention of 19 Palestinians by Israeli forces last week. The protesters flocked to the square with Palestinian flags and called for the release of the detained Palestinians, chanting “Freedom for Palestine” and “Down with Israeli Zionism” slogans. Protesters stated that clashes took place during the raid by Israeli forces in Haram-u-Sharif in Jerusalem, where tensions increased due to the Ramadan month and the Jewish Passover holiday coinciding with the same period. Protesters argued that the incidents occurred as a result of the provocative attitude of the Israeli forces. Also during the protest, a brawl broke out between a pro-Israel group and activists.
