Floods caused by heavy rain in different states of Germany flooded houses and roads. A person died as a result of being exposed to electric shock while draining flood water from the basement of his house near the city of Würzburg in Bavaria.
Red Cross announced that 60 aid points were established and 1 helicopter participated in aid efforts.
Nearly 300 relief operations were carried out in the Ahrweiler region of Rhineland-Palatinate, where 136 people died due to floods in 2021.
