Peruvians took to streets on Independence Day

Peruvians took to streets during the events held for the 28th of July Independence Day. The demonstrators told the press that they oppose the presidency of Dina Boluarte, who cruelly suppressed the previous protests, and demanded early elections for a peaceful environment in the country. Peruvian police intervened in the march using pepper spray in Lima. A brawl broke out between the protesters and the police.
