An oath ceremony was held for Petr Pavel, the winner of last month’s presidential elections in Czechia, at the Vladislav Hall in Prague Castle, attended by 800 guests. After taking the oath, greeting the people from the balcony of the palace and attending the service held in St. Vitus Cathedral, Former Chief of General Staff Pavel officially started his duty as the country’s 4th head of state.
“I will work for everyone who votes for me or not. Because the problems are our problems. We must unite to solve these problems. I will explain what I will do in the first hundred days. Do not judge me by my words, but by my actions. The gates of the castle will be wide open to our people,” Pavel said.
