Philippines Alarmed due to Nearing Super Typhoon Man-yi

Typhoon Man-yi, which is expected to make landfall near the island of Catanduanes in the Bicol Region in the Philippines by tomorrow at the latest, has put authorities on alert. The Ministry of Interior announced that 255,000 people have been evacuated from their homes as a precaution against flooding and landslides. Additionally, all ships in the country have been called to stay in port or return to shore.

Authorities announced that Typhoon Man-yi, which is causing winds reaching 185 kilometers per hour, has been classified as a “Super Typhoon” as of this morning.
