The first partial lunar eclipse of 2023 was observed in the skies of Türkiye’s Van. Nature photographer Reşit Öner, who wanted to capture the copper-colored moon, turned the photoshoot into amusement with the shots he took from a rural area in Edremit district, where light pollution is low. The silhouettes of fairy and witch characters dressed by Öner and his teammates resembled shadow puppetry
