A Saurya Airlines plane with 19 people on board, including two crew members, crashed shortly after takeoff from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. The aircraft, heading to Pokhara, was carrying 17 technicians for maintenance checks.
Security camera footage captured the plane crashing into the ground and erupting into flames. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Airport Spokesperson Premnath Thakur confirmed that 18 passengers died, while the pilot survived with injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing.
