Plane Engine Catches Fire in Orlando, All Evacuated Safely

A Delta Air Lines Airbus A330 caught fire while preparing for takeoff at Orlando International Airport in Florida. The incident occurred as the flight was bound for Atlanta, carrying 282 passengers and 12 crew.

One of the engines caught fire shortly after the plane left the gate. All passengers were safely evacuated via emergency slides, with no injuries reported. The fire was quickly contained by airport firefighting teams. Delta confirmed that passengers would be flown to Atlanta on another aircraft.

The FAA has launched an investigation. The incident follows a string of recent aviation accidents in the US.
