Plane Skids Off Runway in Snow at Halifax Airport, Canada

A Porter Airlines Embraer E195-E2 carrying 64 people skidded off a snow-covered runway after landing at Halifax Stanfield Airport in Nova Scotia, Canada. The aircraft, which had departed from Toronto, became stuck in the snow.

Passengers were evacuated in a two-and-a-half-hour operation, and no injuries were reported. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said the plane sustained no damage and that an investigation has been launched.
