Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak stated that they will start building a razor wire fence as of today on the border with Russia’s Kaliningrad region, located in the northeast of Poland. “Due to the launch of flights from the Middle East and North Africa to Kaliningrad, it was decided to take measures to strengthen security on Poland’s border with Kaliningrad” he said.
Blaszczak stated that the fences will be a temporary measure until a system that will control the border with electronic devices is established. Also, a grill fence will be built on the Polish side that will protect animals.
