Poland Mine Collapse Leaves One Dead, 17 Trapped

A coal mine collapse in Radlin, southern Poland, claimed one life and injured 11 miners, including four in critical condition. Rescue teams are working to save 17 miners trapped 800 meters underground.

Poland Mining Group Chairman Bartosz Kepa confirmed the slow progress of rescue efforts due to high methane levels. The cause of the collapse remains unknown.
