Footage shared by the Polish and Belarus authorities showed that thousands of Immigrants from Iraq, Yemen and Syria are waiting at Belarus border to get into Poland. Poland tries to prevent immigrants from crossing the border, where it dispatched thousands of military units. European members of the United Nations (UN) Security Council issued a joint statement, accusing the Belarusian administration of endangering the lives of immigrants for “political purposes”, calling for action to the international community. It was emphasized that Belarus is trying to distract attention from the increasing human rights violations in the country.
