Ukrainian civilians continue to cross the Medika Border Gate on the Polish border. While the Ukrainian refugees are happy to have survived the war, they also experience the sadness of having to leave their homeland. Women with children are assisted by Polish border forces in carrying their belongings and completing the border crossing. On the Polish side of the border, volunteers from various countries have set up first aid tents and counters where they can get free food and beverages.
It was seen that the needs of pets at the border were also met by NGOs.
