Polish Farmers Throws Eggs at EU Representative Office

A thousand farmers in Poland’s Lower Silesia region gathered in Wroclaw, the administrative center of the region, to protest European agricultural policies. Stating that they were at the point of bankruptcy due to the European Green Deal, the protesters read their demands in front of the EU Representative Office and threw eggs at it. Although the organizers ended the protest as tensions rose, farmers continued the protest by blocking traffic and lighting fires.

Farmers all over Europe are protesting the restrictions imposed by the EU’s policies to combat climate change, increasing costs, and unfair competition with products imported from abroad, especially from Ukraine.
