Peruvian protesters demanding Dina Boluarte’s resignation and early elections set fire to a police station and judicial office in the town of Macusani in Carabaya province. Two more people were killed during anti-government demonstrations. It was reported that the total death toll increased to 53 and 700 people were injured.
