Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of Catholics, touched upon the conflicts taking place in different parts of the world after leading the Easter mass in St.Peter’s Square in the Vatican. Stating that one should not give in to armament, the Pope condemned the negativities experienced in the Hamas-Israel and Ukraine-Russia wars and once again called for a ceasefire and the release of the hostages.
“Peace is never achieved with weapons, but with an open heart,” he said.
