Popocatepetl Volcano, located in the Mexican state of Mexico near the border of the cities of Morelos and Puebla, erupted. Mexico’s National Center for Prevention of Disasters (CENAPRED) stated that two separate eruptions occurred at 02.38 and 06.19 local time in Popocatepetl Volcano, spewing smoke and ash into the air. Experts warned the citizens living in the vicinity to be careful against smoke and ash fall.
