Power Outage at Manila Airport Causes 46 Flight Cancellations

Forty-six domestic flights were canceled due to a power outage at the third terminal of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, at around 01:05 local time. At least 9,000 passengers were affected by the cancellations. Authorities stated that the interruption was due to a technical malfunction in the terminal, the cause of which has not yet been determined. After eight hours, electricity was restored to the airport after the fault was fixed.
