Princess Iman of Jordan marries Greek-Venezuelan businessman

King of Jordan II. Abdullah’s eldest daughter, 27-year-old Princess Iman, married 29-year-old Greek and Venezuelan businessperson Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. Members of the royal and Thermiotis families, as well as local and foreign guests, attended the ceremony on Sunday at Beit al urdun Palace in Amman.

The Holy Quran was read after the marriage ceremony, which was televised live on state television. According to the Greek press, Thermiotis became a Muslim and assumed the name Jameel in order to marry Princess Iman.

Additionally, Thermiotis, who was born into a Greek family in Caracas, Venezuela, got engaged to Princess Iman last summer. He is a business graduate and works in finance in New York.
