Prisoner Exchanges and Aid Delivery to Gaza Begin

The 4-day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, during which Gaza will receive humanitarian aid and prisoners will be released, started today at 07:00 local time.

It was reported that four fuel tankers and four tankers carrying kitchen cylinder gas entered the Gaza Strip from Egypt through the Rafah Border Gate in the morning. The Palestinian Red Crescent said that its teams received 85 trucks and 2 ambulances filled with basic supplies such as food, water, medical equipment, and medicine sent by the Egyptian Red Crescent today.

The first group of 13 Israeli prisoners from Gaza, consisting of women and children, will be released today at 16:00. Meanwhile, Israel will initially release 39 Palestinians. A total of 150 Palestinians in Israeli prisons and 50 Israeli prisoners in Gaza will be exchanged throughout the ceasefire.
