Six prisoners affiliated with ISIS took 2 guards hostage in Detention Center No. 1 in Russia’s Rostov Region before the hearing. The assailants demanded their release and the allocation of a vehicle during the negotiations with Russian law enforcement forces. After a while, the Russian police carried out an operation at the detention center, killing the 6 criminals. The officers taken hostage were reported to have been rescued safely.
