A Learjet 35A private jet skidded off the runway at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona and crashed into a parked Gulfstream 200, killing one person and injuring four others. According to the Scottsdale Fire Department, the crash occurred after one of the jet’s main landing gears failed during landing.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, which marks the third fatal aviation accident in the US within a week. Recent crashes include a mid-air collision over Washington, DC, an ambulance plane crash in Philadelphia, and a small plane crash in Alaska, collectively claiming 84 lives.
