Students in Cuba gathered at the University of Havana to support Palestine. Students shouting anti-Israeli slogans demanded an end to the oppression in Palestine and a ceasefire in Gaza. The crowd also criticized police violence against the pro-Palestinian protesters at US universities.
“It is unforgivable to wake up one more day knowing that the genocide in Gaza today and that children, young people and the elderly continue to die,” said Jose Alberto Almeida, President of the Student Federation of the University of Havana.
