Thousands of pro-Palestinians held a march in support of Palestine in Düsseldorf, Germany, despite the heavy rain. Protesting the attacks in Gaza and demanding a ceasefire, protesters criticized the German government for supporting Israel and asked the international community to be more sensitive. Then, the demonstrators who organized a silent march taped their mouths and carried signs and banners reading “Free Palestine” and “Be silent while the children are sleeping, not when they are dying.”
The German police seized some of the banners because they were considered objectionable.
