Relatives of those held captive in the Gaza Strip and thousands of people who wanted to support them came together at Habima Square in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, to protest against Benjamin Netanyahu’s government. The crowd slammed Netanyahu for his response to Hamas’s attack on October 7 and called for the release of all hostages and immediate elections.
Former Israel Defense Forces Military Intelligence Director Major General Amos Malka expressed in another protest in Jerusalem that Netanyahu had led Israel into its own war of survival and said he was selfish and irresponsible.
