Protests in Support of Palestine Banned in France

Protests staged in support of Palestine are banned in France. In a note sent to regional governors, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin stated that the demonstrations ‘could disrupt public order’ and that the organizers should be arrested. Despite the ban, hundreds of Palestinian supporters gathered at Republique Square in the capital Paris and held a demonstration.

Demonstrators holding Palestinian flags in their hands frequently chanted slogans such as ‘Palestine will win,’ ‘Collaborator Macron,’ and ‘Zionists, you are terrorists; we are all Palestine
