Public Transportation Employees Went on Strike in Germany

After airport workers in Germany, public transportation employees started a strike to improve their working conditions. Approximately 90,000 public bus, metro, and tram drivers in more than 80 cities stopped working as of the morning. The strike caused great trouble for many commuters and increased traffic density due to the involvement of more personal vehicles in the traffic. The strike ended at 10:00, and city traffic returned to normal around noon.
