Putin And Kim Meet In Beijing During Victory Day Events

Russian President Vladimir Putin met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Beijing on the sidelines of China’s Victory Day celebrations. The talks were held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, where both leaders praised growing ties.

Putin said relations have reached the level of “special trust and friendship,” noting North Korea’s support under their strategic partnership agreement. He thanked Pyongyang for its backing in global conflicts.

Kim called Russia a “brotherly nation,” pledging full support and cooperation across all sectors, and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
