Putin Visits Vietnam to Strengthen Ties

Russian President Vladimir Putin, after his visit to North Korea, arrived in Vietnam on his 3-day Asian tour. In Hanoi, he was welcomed by Communist Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. This visit, his fifth to Vietnam, includes meetings with Vietnamese President To Lam and the signing of agreements in trade, investment, technology, and education.

Earlier, in North Korea, Putin and Kim Jong Un signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement to enhance cooperation and provide mutual assistance in case of an attack.
