A five-hour meeting in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US envoy Steve Witkoff, and Trump advisor Jared Kushner ended with no agreement on Ukraine’s territorial issues. Russian Vice President Yuri Ushakov called the talks “useful and constructive,” adding that peace is “not further away,” but compromise is still required.
Ushakov said the meeting was confidential and that both sides will continue contacts. Putin asked the US envoys to relay messages to Trump. Russian official Kirill Dmitriev described the talks as “productive.”
