Python Found in Toilet Sparks Panic in Bangkok

A 2.5-meter reticulated python was discovered in a toilet by resident Tattam Hannarong in Bangkok’s Sai Mai district around 3:00 AM. Hannarong alerted rescue teams, who safely removed the snake. “It’s a little scary,” he said, sharing the video on social media. He added, “I’m lucky it wasn’t my dog who found it.”

Experts warn snake sightings in homes rise during Thailand’s monsoon season. Bangkok authorities receive snake reports every 15 minutes and catch around 60,000 snakes annually.
