During the New Year celebrations, racist expressions such as “White lives are precious”, “Happy white new year” and “We must secure the existence of our people and the future of white children” were projected onto the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Dutch prosecutor’s office announced initiating a criminal investigation into the incident and reminded that there is a limit to freedom of expression and that expressions should never incite discrimination or offend another community.
