Rainfall Led to Fatal Floods and Landslides in Brazil

Heavy rainfall caused severe floods and landslides in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. A total of 8 people, including a baby, died, more than 100 people were left homeless, and a 6-year-old child was missing in the state. The risk of floods and landslides occurring continues in 10 cities.

A young man who saved 2 children and a woman from a flooded vehicle was declared a hero.
