In Thailand, people called on Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to resign due to inadequate government policies to contain Covid-19 pandemic. Convoys of hundreds of cars and motorcycles took to the 20-kilometer road stretching from the Democracy Monument in the center of the capital Bangkok to Don Mueang Airport. Similar protests were also held in other cities such as Tak, Khon Kaen, Kanchanaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Phetchabun and Nakhon Ratchasima.
