Record Crowds at Tokyo Mosque for Eid Prayers

 

An overwhelming turnout for Eid al-Adha at Japan’s largest mosque prompted officials to hold morning prayers three consecutive times to accommodate everyone. Hundreds of worshippers from across the globe flocked to the Tokyo Mosque early in the day, with the massive crowd quickly spilling out into the surrounding courtyard.
