A fire broke out in a recycling facility where paper and plastics are stored in the Sarıyer district of Türkiye’s Istanbul province at night. The flames grew bigger in a short time and spread to the forest area around the facilities, but were brought under control by firefighters. Some firefighters were given oxygen treatment by health teams due to smoke inhalation.
The fire was brought under control in the morning.
