Refugees no more allowed to settle in former tax office in brussels

Refugees, who had been living in Palais 48, the former tax office building in Brussels, Belgium, that is currently out of use and waiting for repair, were kicked out of the building. Having said that they were not informed about the evacuation decision, the refugees have begun to wait on the streets.

Some non-governmental organizations announced that they are working to find a place for about 700 asylum seekers.

The number of refugees in the country is rapidly increasing due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
