Released Palestinians Reunite with Their Families in Gaza Strip

Yesterday, in the 6th prisoner swap between Israel and Hamas since January 19, 333 of the 369 Palestinians released by Israel from Ofer Prison in the West Bank in exchange for the 3 Israeli prisoners released by Hamas were brought to the Gaza Strip.

After being welcomed by their families and friends, the Palestinians were taken to the European Gaza Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis for health checks.

“The situation in Al-Aqsa is very, very difficult. Beatings, humiliation and attacks are repeated every day. The resistance must release all prisoners as soon as possible,” said Anwar Kotkot, who was arrested in Khan Younis a year ago.

“I hope that all prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons immediately. I am very happy now because I am reunited with my family and loved ones. When I see them, all my tiredness disappears,” said Mohammed Bassel Samir.
